RCH Company is more than just a firm; we’re a family—both in spirit and in practice. What began as a small construction venture quickly grew into a diverse business offering custom-built homes and commercial buildings. As opportunities evolved, we shifted our focus to engineering and land surveying, transitioning into the full-service firm we are today. RCH Engineering was founded in September of 2002 as RCH Construction, LLC, as a lateral venture to our “day jobs” for supplemental income, with its mission to construct builder-spec homes for sale. RCH Construction, LLC quickly grew to offer construction of custom-built homes and commercial buildings.
In October of 2003 as opportunity arose, RCH Construction, LLC
transitioned to launch RCH Company, Inc., a corporation offering Engineering and Land Surveying Services as a “firm,” subsequently phasing-out the construction side of our business.
As RCH Company grew, our commitment to quality work gained recognition in the community. In 2004 and 2005, we were honored with nominations for the Rivertown Award of Excellence. These nominations reflected our focus on delivering innovative, reliable engineering solutions, and underscored our reputation for excellence, integrity, and customer satisfaction.

In 2009, RCH Company moved to a new office on Louisville Avenue in the heart of Monroe, taking over the former location of another engineering company. As part of the transition, RCH acquired valuable project archives, enhancing our ability to serve clients with a deeper understanding of local engineering history and past projects. This move marked a key milestone in our growth and solidified our presence in the community.
In 2011, RCH Company was honored to be named the code inspector for Sterlington, a role we proudly held for 10 years. During that time, we contributed to the community’s growth and development. After a decade of successful service, we passed the responsibility on, allowing us to focus more on our passion for civil design and further enhance the innovative solutions we provide to our clients.
In 2013, RCH Company was selected as the certified building official (CBO) for the Town of Sterlington, serving in the role until 2023. During this time, they ensured all local projects adhered to building codes and safety regulations, contributing to the town's growth and infrastructure improvements. Their expertise in construction standards played a vital role in supporting development while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.
In 2019, RCH Company moved to its current office space, creating a welcoming and homey environment that fosters collaboration and creativity. The new location offers an open, relaxed atmosphere where we can work together more effectively while also enjoying a fun, engaging space. With comfortable areas for brainstorming and downtime, our office reflects our commitment to a positive, collaborative culture that encourages innovation. This move not only supports the growing needs of our clients but also provides a place where we can thrive, both professionally and personally.
